Smith’s Stain Shield WB is the same formula but new name for our original Stain Shield to help differentiate between the water-based and solvent-based formulas of this product series.

Smith’s Stain Shield WB is a water-based penetrating sealer developed to both mechanically and chemically bond to a variety of mineral substrates including, but not limited to concrete, stucco, pavers, natural stone, clay tile (Saltillo tile) and brick.

While achieving a natural appearance, Smith’s Stain Shield WB effectively repels oil, stains and water to reduce undesired discoloration, cracking, freeze / thaw / salt damage, chemical degradation, biological growth, efflorescence and dirt pickup.
